Covering travel expenses for Southern Caucasus

10 $ = 110 SEK, 50 $ = 550 SEK, 100 $ = 1100 SEK
Due to the tensed and escalating situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, I'm planning on going to Southern Caucasus shortly. The aim is to do cover the situation on ground in the border areas.
I have already been approved necessary documentation in order to do so.

The second aim of the trip is to follow up on the humanitarian situation of the displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. This part is the next of my series called "Armenia's New Reality", which is nominated to the Swedish Red Cross Journalist Award this year (the winner is as for now not declared). The series have been widely cited by other journalists, academics and diplomats working on the conflict.
The trip aims to make as thorough and deep reporting as possible for the award-winning investigative platform www.blankspot.se. The articles will be in English.
In order to do high quality and focused journalism, which is accesible for public, I'm doing a fundraiser. Usually the expenses are between 1 500 euros to 2 000 euros for a week, including flights, hotels, fee for the fixer/translator and rental car.
Thank you so much for making my work possible!

My journalism is entirely independent. Contributing to this campaign does not influence the outcome of journalistic work, which I and my editor(s) control. In other words, when you contribute, you believe in my ability to conduct high-quality journalism. If you represent a government entity affiliated with the Caucasus, I kindly ask you not to contribute to the campaign.
