Cover the sick pay that I can't claim

While I was at work in September, I had an accident and fractured 3 metatarsals in my foot.
I had been working two jobs all summer to save for a 4 month kayaking trip over the winter. This has involved up to 8 shifts a week sometimes working 20 hours in a day. I've now had to cancel this trip because of my injury and will be losing several hundred pounds on the cancellation cost.
To add insult to injury, when I applied for statutory sick pay (SSP) for the 6 weeks I've been out of work (and possibly more) I was denied. It turns out that the government stopped paying for SSP in 2014 and the employers now provide it, which means that each company considers your claim separately. This means that the newer of my two jobs denied me because I hadn't worked there long enough and the older denied me because I had cut my hours in recent weeks to start this new job.
This has been a hugely upsetting time for me and it's made even worse by the fact that it's not only costing me hundreds, it's also stopping me from earning for at least 6 weeks and I won't be recouping any of that money from SSP.
I would be incredibly grateful if anyone who could spare a small amount of their hard earned money would donate in order to help me to recoup some of these losses. It would take a lot of the stress and frustration out of my mind, and allow me to try to heal up in a healthy and less downtrodden mindset.
