 The last 12 months have been some of the hardest of my life, from bouncing back after one roommate had a stroke, to carrying the entire load of a 3 bedroom apartment after several more roommates took advantage of me and threatened to lose me my home. The suicide of one of my friends causing me a complete mental breakdown. And then messenger work making me half of what it has in the years prior.

 I'm in deep. All of my credit cards are going to collections, my electrical bill is behind and catastrophic, and I'm not going to make rent this month. I often have to skip weeks of the gym waiting to have enough to pay without fucking everything else up. I can't even afford a retest for my CPT certification.

 I finally start a new job next week and while it is going to be a massive help it can't possibly save me from the impending doom of a million things coming due at once. I try not to ask for help often, but I really don't know what else to do.

 This isn't to buy me fancy things, to help me go out or go on vacation, I need to make sure I keep a roof above our heads and to try and dig out so I can make it through the economic storm that I know is crushing many of us. I've been sick on and off all year, and stressed to extremes I haven't known since the lockdown.
