<div>My name is Michael, but I'm better known by the YouTube channel name Blue Bacon. My channel focuses primarily on creating educational content about laws and law enforcement in an entertaining way. Last year I discovered a YouTuber named Jose DeCastro, who publishes content under the channel Delete Lawz. I was shocked to come to the following conclusions about him (these should be considered opinions, not statements of facts):

<div>1 - he intends to get major case law overturned, which has the potential to create dangerous chaos within the legal system if successful.
</div>
<div>2 - he intends to run for political office in order to, among other things, replace law enforcement with a prohibitively expensive and untested system that would only arrest people who consented to an arrest and would rely on snipers as the only non-consensual use of force.
</div>
<div>3 - He assisted in a lawsuit that would have, if successful (it wasn't), revoked the indigenous status of hundreds of thousands of Cherokee Native Americans.
</div>
<div>4 - He is a fugitive from justice in possession of firearms, and has active warrants for his arrest in Ohio, a state he fled from to avoid prosecution.

<div>The list goes on, and I published multiple videos about the concerns I had regarding his publications. Mr. DeCastro took issue with these videos, and after discovering my name and address decided to not only state he would sue me unless I removed the videos, entered into mediation, and allowed him to assault me, but he also threatened my life. The following statements came directly from him: "There's a guy looking for you. I would be very careful if I was you and make sure that you're packing. He told me he wants to hurt you and I gave him your address" and "Better call your friends... Make sure your packing heat" and "Look out your window. Anybody there?" I was and still am under the impression that these statements constituted an imminent threat to my life, and I successfully applied for a protection order. Mr. DeCastro was unhappy that I attempted to have him served with the approved order, and threatened to sue me if I didn't retract the protection order.

<div>I have decided not to allow him to assault me, and I have declined to remove the legal protection that is in place. Mr. DeCastro carried out his promise and sued me for several things I had nothing to do with, and one thing that he has taken entirely out of context: he claimed the court-approved method of electronic service of the protection order constituted harassment. Unfortunately, I am not a lawyer, and my pro per blundering has not caused the case to be dismissed as easily as I had hoped. Another problem is that lawyers are incredibly expensive, and the only one that I can begin to afford at the moment on a student/national guard income has a retainer of $15,000.
