Cover Damage Costs For Audrey's Stolen Car

In the early morning hours of March 19th, my car was stolen from outside of my house. 24 hours later the car was recovered but not without a lot of damage. The steering column and ignition needed to be replaced to just get the car running and that alone was $1500.

The car has so much more damage than that and as a single mom, I can't afford those repairs all at the same time. Unfortunately, the level of coverage I had on my car insurance policy doesn't cover theft and these expenses are all on me.

The car was trashed and they damaged my seat covers, so I can't even temporarily cover up the damage. Life has just been in survival mode since the pandemic for me, so I'm at a point where a little help would go a long way. Not just for my car, and for my daughter but for my mental health.

The funds would be used to cover:

Repairing the busted headlight

Ignition replacement cost

Having the car cleaned/detailed

Possibly getting the A/C fixed
