Cover Colby Daniel’s medical expenses.

My nephew Colby, has been in the hospital for over 2 weeks now. Each day he was there he was getting sicker and sicker. He had all the doctors stumped as they struggled to figure out what was wrong. On Thursday, August 18,he was finally given a diagnosis. Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Definitely not the diagnosis we wanted but it’s the one he got and he’s fighting to kick cancers butt everyday. AML is a rare form of Leukemia with fewer than 200,00 cases per year. Colby has already begun treatment but will need to stay in the hospital for a few more weeks. His  mom, dad and uncle have been taking turns to be there with Colby 24/7. They are all taking time off of work and driving back and forth from the hospital isn’t cheap.

Colby just turned 21 in July. He means the world to all of us. His best friend is his 4 year old sister Emma. Emma misses him so much. She doesn’t understand what is going on but knows he is in the hospital. She just wants her “brudder” home to play with her! My son thinks of Colby as his big brother. We all want him to get better.
