Help Courtney take on the World !

Hello, my name is Courtney Poole and I am 15 years old.
I am very excited as I am the youngest team member to be selected to represent Australia at this year’s 2015 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships Division IIB.
This is going to be held in Jaca Spain from the 7-13th March and I will also train a week before this World contest in Prague, Czech Republic in preparation for this.
I started playing in an ice hockey team in Perth the year I turned 10 years old. I didn’t know we had ice hockey in Perth until then but have always had a love and passion for this sport. Since then I have played in my local club and after a lot of hard work was selected for the Australian Women’s U18 Ice hockey Team. From there I made it into the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) and after trials was selected to join the Australian Women’s National Ice Hockey Team. I cannot express how honoured I am to be able to wear the green and gold and cannot wait to bring home the GOLD CUP with my team mates.
Ice Hockey in Australia is a low profile sport, even more so Women’s Ice Hockey which receives little funding, therefore travel, accommodation, food, uniforms and new equipment as needed is at the personal expense of all players. My parents have supported me this far but it’s getting costly. Of course my parents continue to support me but I would like to help them out.
To do so I would like to ask that my beautiful friends, their friends and co-workers and any Corporate companies that are willing to do so to donate to my GO FUND ACCOUNT to help me with these expenses so I can get to the World Championships and achieve my goal.
Thank you to everyone in advance and any donation no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated. It would also be great if you can pass my message along to anyone who wants to support women’s sport in Australia.

Hi everyone. Courtney has put her heart and soul into this and a lot of it off her own back. She works hard at practice and labours through hours of personal training to build her strength and speed. She has earned this. We will always support her dreams but any help would be appreciated and this support will also tell her that Australia is behind her and will help validate her belief in representing the lucky country. Thank You
