SOUTH AFRICA Leadership Experience

       Hey Family and Friends- If you made it this far.... you're somewhat interested in donating! LET ME HELP seal the deal! I'm a senior at Johnson & Wales University, and I will be the first to graduate in my family!  NOW, I've been selected to attend the International Leadership experience to South Africa after a long application and interview process. I am both extremely excited and humbled to be able experience this, as it will be my first time leaving this continent. During this trip, we will be visiting Johannesburg, Vhueni Lodge, and Bushbuckridge.
           
           While participating in the International Leadership experience, I hope to gain a deeper sense of self knowledge and awareness. Coming from a city where not many people make it to another state, this leadership experience will strengthen my knowledge of foreign culture and my ability to respect different cultures and beliefs. Should I be given this opportunity, I will bring back cultural awareness; speak on the government corruption and social injustices that still exist in South Africa. In addition, I hope to bring back the ability to be open-minded; despite surroundings, and change the view of people that have never been to the continent before.  *The program fees and travel costs come to $2,000 total including airfare, transportation, museum admission, food and lodging.*
