Courtney's Cancer Free Vacation

As most of you know, Courtney was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma earlier this year. As a young vibrant woman trying to start a family, it took everyone by surprise. We've all missed her contagious smile and positive energy as she's been focussed on healing. Most of us know what cancer means and happens during the healing process with chemo. This has left us feeling helpless and with a desire to do something. The day she sat myself and other coworkers down to inform us of her sickness, she lit up when she spoke of life after treatment. She talked about taking a trip somewhere tropical, to relax and be with her husband David. I knew instantly, that is a way we can be there for her.

There is a home in Hawaii on the Big Island, I hope, with the help of her biggest supports, to send her and David to when she is done with treatment. And after just a few months of treatment her latest Pet scan looked great! She'll be back to work in the next month and will hopefully continue this tremendous healing process. If all goes well her last treatment will be in November. Giving her a couple months to regain strength and get clearance for travel, the hope is to send them to Hawaii in February.
