MY PASSION TO GO SERVE:
Ever since my 8th-grade summer camp, I have had a deep longing in my heart to go serve in Africa. My Freshman year at camp when we were learning about what it means to be a kingdom worker, I began to pray about this longing, and if it was placed there specifically by God. As my desire grew, I knew Jesus was giving me a yes. It brought me such joy to know that my passion was in line with Gods call for my life! Over the years I have continued to pray asking God to orchestrate a trip. I have been trusting God to prepare my heart for the work he will do through me and provide the finances for the day when I get to go. I specifically prayed for an opportunity to go with my dad and his friend who discipled him, Pastor Bill Wright. Bill leads a successful ministry in Uganda, Rwanda and The Congo. WELL let me tell you! God knows the desires of our heart and is ready to bless us in his timing. With your help, I will be serving in an orphanage in Uganda in early January 2018 (Dec 30 - Jan 13). I will be teaching elementary aged students about Jesus and the English language while joining in fellowship and times of worship. I will also have an opportunity to share my testimony and The Gospel at a local church. My heart is SO full thanks to the grace of God!!
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
I am prayerfully asking you to consider sponsoring my trip this upcoming December/January. Your sponsorship will all go towards immunizations, airfare, transportation, food, passport fees, visa fees, and housing. I understand some might not be able to donate financially, but it would be just as much a blessing if you could pray for my trip alongside me.
