Courtney Daggett's Fearless Fight Against Cancer

As some of you know and for those that don’t, I’m the lucky little sister to my warrior sister, Courtney and aunt to her two beautiful children, Michaela & Colton.

Courtney is a one-of-a-kind mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend but, above all, warrior and inspiration to anyone who meets her.

You see, from the start, life handed her mountains to climb that even the strongest couldn’t reach the top of.

Her first climb started at the young and innocent age of 7, when she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. With her fearless mindset, positive attitude and encouraging outlook on life, she conquered her first mountain, only being faced with her second climb five short years later, at the age of 12 when the cancer returned.

She has always approached each mountain with grace, determination and strength, no matter what would soon be endured during the climb.

Fast forward to today, and Courtney is presented, yet again, with her next climb that has been far from easy. On top of the constant daily struggles from the after-effects of treatments she underwent as a child, 25 years later, Courtney has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Though Courtney remains to stay unbelievably positive and carries the weight with grace, it doesn’t mean it’s not heavy. Currently recovering from lung surgery that came about from initial testing from the breast cancer diagnosis.

As the next step quickly approaches, it’s time to show Courtney the tribe rallying behind her, and even though they’d never ask, financial support to offset some of the stressors that come along with this next climb.

All donations will be used to offset medical bills, pay for gas to get to and from Mass General Hospital every day for radiation and household bills from the inability to work, allowing Courtney the time she needs to truly focus on her health, well-being and family ❤️
