Hi Everyone!
My name is Kara Crutcher and I started this campaign to raise awareness about street harassment, particularly on the CTA. We’re raising money to create advertisements that will discourage people from harassing, and encourage fellow commuters to stand up to harassment!
I've been riding the CTA for over ten years, and the first time I was harassed, I was 14 years old, on my way home from school, and followed home.
No one should feel as if they are alone or unsafe when doing something as simple as a daily commute. With some effort, we can make a everyone feel a little safer in this wonderful city that I love so much!
