ABOUT ME
My name is Aceia Anderson and I'm a 21 year old creative writer. Ever since I was a young child, I've always been apart of the arts. At a young age, I was always acting and singing. When I turned 14, I developed a love for writing. Little did I know that during my teeneage years, I would undergo traumatic issues with cyberbullying and isolation. At 16, I developed thoughts of suicide because of the severe amount of lonliness and displacement I felt.
I suffered from depression and axiety daily, and still to this day, I battle image issues. To cope, I sought out counselors and tried anti-depressants, but the best cure for me was my gift of writing. Since then, I have authored over 15 plays, written 10 short stories, a feature film, and currently working on my first novel. What you are about to experience here, is my 10 episodic web-series that deals with many of the personal issues I face growing up.
THE SERIES
This series focuses on a young girl trying to fit in within a world that she naturally doesn't fit into. She's bullied and emotionally broken down throughout the series, and her faith is constantly tested. This series was written to reach those individuals going through emotional issues of their own, especially teenagers and young adults. In a nutshell, this is a series based upon mental health awareness, and highlights the issues of bullying and suicide within our younger generation.
PROJECTED GOAL
My goal as a writer and in this series is to prove that a belief in goodness and genuine love is still attainable for everyone, even in a world filled with so much negativity and pain. Mental Health Illness is a serious problem. Help me and my team of actors and production staff to finish this 10 episodic web series by donating today! Upon completion of the series, all episodes will be shown on Youtube. It is our hope to have this series be picked up by Netflix and distributed to audiences world wide.
