Couple Looses Everything In Monte Lake Fire

I am making this go fund me on behalf of a dear family friend. As of what we are all tragically aware of, there are the devastating fires circulating b.c right now that our family friend never in their life saw coming.

Ben and his girlfriend decided to move out of Kelowna and start a new life together in Monte Lake. They had only just built a garage with a travel trailer parked next to it as their temporary home until they built their dream one. They had stored some of their large items such as 2 Harley motor bikes, power and manual tools for his work machines and toys, lumber for his home in the works, collection of antiques, electronics, furniture and a-lot of other stuff that he worked so so hard for. In his travel trailer he lost all his personal belongings. Clothes, food, passport, riding gear, etc. He really doesn't have much to his name at the moment. He is in the concrete business so with all his tools being gone, it is really hard for him to go back, but he is getting some help from work friends. With such a beautiful property to settle, and it being gone within a literal blink of an eye, you could imagine only how hard this is to sink in to him. Thank god he was able to get himself out and his girlfriend, along with their beautiful dog and truck safe.

In Monte Lake B.C, the small population was given an evacuation notice on Wednesday at midnight, but the fire spread so quick he had no time to grab all his belongings. He had no insurance on anything aside from his truck. He did not have the bikes insured because he had no time to ride them. He lost a good over 100k in belongings. All money being made of course will go straight to him and his family, to get back up on his feet, and helping him survive these next unbearable months.
