County Roads Rescue New Facility Start Up Cost

We are a small, Non-profit dog and cat rescue in Jacksonville Texas. We are currently foster based only and send about 95% of our animals to rescue partners up north. With so few places for animals to go and our fosters staying full, we are very limited on how many animals we can help. This area desperately needs a rescue who can do more! There is a major stray overpopulation issue here  and no animal control in the county. We have a shelter for the city limits in Jacksonville and they recently moved to a larger facility.

When the Jacksonville Animal Shelter moved from their facility on Woodlawn Ave to Tena St in Jacksonville, it left the old shelter available. This little shelter includes several portable buildings and the main dog housing area that includes 10 indoor/ outdoor kennels on a .75 acre piece of land.
We had a wonderful friend and volunteer who offered to cover the initial purchase cost and allow us to rent to own!  

This building is almost move in ready besides utility start up costs, rezoning and completing a survey and appraisal. We are hoping to be moved in by mid June. In order for this to be a realistic time line, we need to start raising money now. We will need to make at least a $1500 deposit, however, the larger the deposit we put down the less our monthly payment will be.  We will also need start up costs for insurance and to have utilities turned on.
