Help to buy a Minibus

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
Us Simpsons are helpers, we have always been involved in Outdoor Education and camps for children or educating about environmental issues through walking in the mountains. We genuinely care.
A recent issue though, through no fault of our own has left us in a tricky situation.
Keith Simpson has headed back to the UK to complete a counselling diploma and help with the care if his 91yr old mum. Refused a student loan, and unable to get a job as his police check showed he was found guilty in Italy in 2016 OF BEING IN A PUBLIC PLACE WITH AN ILLEGAL WEAPON!!
The actual reality is, we were stopped in 2014 travelling in our campervan near Cuneo by the Italian police. They found a baseball bat inside the van, next to badminton rackets etc and somehow we were tried without knowing and Keith has a 3000€ fine!
So, long story sorry, but cut to today....
We have been trying to get through all of this. I still live in the Alps and run a small snowshoeing business called Magical Snow Treks. I have been sending as much money back to Keith to help but am now at the point where my 16yr old van, needed to transport people, needs replacing.
I have found the perfect van, asked the bank for a loan and they said NO.
Reason being, that my husband is out of work!!
We desperately need a hand right now, without a van I can't run my business. A number of people have suggested crowfunding, and to be honest it doesn't feel comfortable asking people for a little help. But maybe after all the help we have given to people over the years, it is OK to ask for help back.
With a replaced minibus I can continue to guide people in the mountains, continue to educate and care through TALKING AND WALKING, and Keith can continue with his course, and help his mum.
