The Can Man Dan Foundation is teaming with Halloween Alley to ensure that hundreds of low-income children across Edmonton have the ability to celebrate Halloween/Fall Festival with everybody else. Let's face it, the Halloween season is A TON OF FUN for children of all ages, but it is an expensive time of year for families, especially if you are low-income or on a limited budget. That's why we're raising funds to supply hundreds of low-income children with brand new costumes and help build their confidence with the latest attires -- and we need your help!
The Can Man Dan Foundation and Halloween Alley agree that every child, regardless of social or financial status, should have the privilege and opportunity to partake in all of the "spooky" festivities and community fun! Which is why we are teaming up to ensure that no child is left out or embarrassed that they can't participate in community activities with their friends and family.
"Oh boy, I know the feeling all too well. We were poor growing up, and when Halloween came around it was either pay for food/bills, or celebrate Halloween. We went with the food and bills. To this day, I still remember not being able to go out with my friends or being too embarrassed to tell them that we couldn't afford costumes that year. I don't wish that feeling on any one, let alone a child! Which is why I'm excited to launch this program with Halloween Alley"! - Can Man Dan (Dan Johnstone).

*As per GoFundMe's rules and regulations, I must publicly state that I am accepting these donations as the founder and president of the Can Man Dan Foundation and that these donations will be deposited into my personal bank account. I will then withdraw the donations and give the cash directly to the Can Man Dan Foundation to buy costumes for kids in need.
