Cost for Funeral Service

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that David Robinson, husband of our beloved mother Deborah Robinson, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Saturday, November 27 in Monroeville, Alabama.

David and Deborah were married for 30 years, and she is facing a devastating loss. In the midst of her grief and trauma, Deborah is also dealing with the financial and logistical difficulties of providing a dignified memorial service and burial for her husband.

Anyone who has met Deborah knows her to be a wonderful, loving person and a woman of strength and character who has fought through life’s difficulties, including a battle with cancer. Now, at the age of 70 and living on a fixed income, she is faced with funeral expenses of over $7,000 for David’s burial. It’s an overwhelming financial burden to confront in one of the most difficult and vulnerable moments of her life.

For those who are able, we humbly ask that you help us support and lift Deborah up in her hour of need as she faces a future without David. Any amount you can contribute will help ease the burden she faces and will help her get back on her feet so that she can begin the process of healing, rebuilding her life, and relocating to Los Angeles to be near her children.
