Cosplay Beach Party needs YOUR HELP!

Cosplay Beach Party is held at the Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan, on the first Saturday of August. We are an outdoor cosplay beach/pool-themed party with music featuring various DJs, volleyball tournaments, cosplay photoshoots, and watermelon smashing!

We started in 2016 with our last event in 2019 with a smashing success. However, as many other events like CBP has suffered through the pandemic, we had to cancel our 2020 & 2021 event. Before the pandemic, we hosted ticketed events throughout the year to raise money to continue the tradition of keeping the leading annual event itself completely FREE to attend.

Cosplay is an expensive hobby.

From badges to attend the cosplay conventions, hotel rooms, to cosplays we buy or build and buy supply/material can rack up $$$ quickly.

Because of this, we host a FREE ADMISSION event (with the exception of $10 Metropark entry per vehicle) where cosplayers & affiliates can still do what they love but not worry about spending a large sum of money to attend cosplay events.

However, hosting a free event is not cheap. From equipment rental costs, food/drinks, 250+ watermelons, and VISA Giftcards for the Cosplay Contest and Volleyball Tournament winners, we spend nearly $2,000 every event. Due to COVID-19, we will not be providing food at the 2022 event, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own. EDIT: Equipment Rental fee has changed since our last event - our goal has been updated to reflect the new cost.
