Cosmin and his twin brother Constantin were born to a single mom who abandoned them at birth- the result of devastating poverty in Romania.
They grew up in an orphanage, loved by a small but dedicated group of Americans who financially supported them. They are now 15-years old.
Last fall, Cosmin and Constanin fulfilled a life-long dream of coming to Kansas City, Mo for high school. They were to live with Pam Turner, a friend who had been like a mother to them and offered to fund tuition and living expenses.
Tragically, Pam died in her sleep- as the twins attended a high school football game, just as their new life was getting started. For the second time in their lives, they have lost a mom, but we don’t want them to lose their opportunity for a future.
We are raising funds funds to help pay tuition, health insurance, school fees and clothing (U.S. law requires international students to attend private school. )
Both boys have excellent grades. Both tested into honors math courses their freshman year. Cosmin plays soccer On the freshmen team and wants to be a high school math teacher someday. Constantin is kind and sensitive. He likes animals and volunteering.
Your financial gift will help the boys stay in school and in the United States: giving them the opportunity for an education all kids deserve. We ask that you please give to United Aid Foundation in an education fund set up for Cosmin and Constantin.
United Aid Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization run by volunteers. 100 percent of your donation will go directly to the boys’ education fund.
