Corynne's Power Scooter Lift Fund

Our friend Corynne has a rare form of dwarfism called Pseudoachondroplasia. The physical characteristics of pseudoachondroplasia include short stature (38 inches tall) and severe osteoarthritis.
Corynne currently has severe osteoarthritis of her hips, knees, and ankles. Both hips are perpetually dislocated and she cannot walk more than two or three feet without stopping to rest on a stool that she carries at all times. For long distances, she uses a motorized power scooter. Corynne also cares for a teenage daughter with the same form of dwarfism and the same severe mobility issues.
Recently, she was able to purchase a van that can hold a scooter in the back. Unfortunately, Corynne cannot afford to purchase the power scooter lift she needs in order to be able to independently load her scooter in and out of the van by herself. Scooter lifts are NOT covered by insurance. Currently, she has to wait for a passer-by, flag them down, and hope they are willing and able to lift her scooter in or out of the van. She has often had to wait more than two hours until she was able to find someone willing and physically able to help her (scooters are heavy and awkward).
When we realized this is how she has been managing, we were shocked and thought of GoFundMe. The lift she needs is called a Bruno Power Curb Sider and costs approximately $2500.00 (installed). In addition, Corynne also needs running boards on her vehicle since it's so high; running boards cost approximately $1000 (installed).
