Cortney's Courageous Journey

Donation protected

Cortney is a vibrant, strong, and sweet 19-year old girl who was diagnosed with Leukemia in August of 2016. With the love and support of her family and friends, Cortney bravely took on any, and every obstacale as it came her way.

By January, Cortney had applied for Nursing school at St. John's Fisher to provide the same level of compassion and kindness that had been shown to she and her family over the course of her multiple hospital stays in the previous months.

In June of 2017, it was determined that the Leukemia had returned and Cortney's fight would courageously continue.  Corty is at Strong Hospital in Rochester, NY for 3-4 weeks as of now, for chemotherapy treatment to get her back into remission. A bone marrow transplant is currently being lined up immediately following remission. It is a projected 2-3 month stretch made up of hospital stays, followed by outpatient, and eventually being monitored by doctors in local hospitals back in Syracuse, NY.

Any and every donation is appreciated; even if it means giving up your $3 cup of coffee one morning to contribute, as Cortney braves this next chapter of her journey.

Funds raised will provide support to Cortney and her family so that they can focus on what is most important – being with, and fighting along side of Cortney.
