Cortes & Vicente Family

On Monday April 11th both my parents Librado,Teresa Cortes and grandparents Damian, Reyna Vicente were all involved in a multi-vehicle accident heading home from Twin Falls that afternoon. Luckily my grandpa was discharged from the emergency room that same night. Unfortunately my mom and grandma had to be admitted to St Luke's to recover from their injuries. My grandma, a week later has been discharged but still recovering from her injuries. My dad had to be admitted to the hospital in Boise to keep a closer observation on his injuries. Although they are all doing well they still have a long road to recovery ahead of them. Due to the magnitude of the accident we know that this will place financial burden for both households. Both my dad and Grandpa have always worked so hard as head of household and have always lended a helping hand without thinking about it twice. We would like to do this more than anything to help take some of that worry off their shoulders and give them some help with those medical expenses that are about to come in.

We would like to wish everyone involved a speedy recovery.

El lunes 11 de Abril, mis padres, Librado, Teresa Cortes y mis abuelos, Damián y Reyna Vicente estuvieron involucrados en un accidente de varios vehículos cuando se dirigían a casa desde Twin Falls esa tarde. Por suerte mi abuelo fue dado de alta de urgencias esa misma noche. Desafortunadamente, mi mamá y mi abuela deben ingresar en St Luke's para recuperarse de sus heridas. Mi abuela, una semana después, fue dada de alta pero todavía se está recuperando de sus heridas. Mi papá tuvo que ser ingresado en el hospital de St Alphonsus en Boise, para mantener una observación más cercana de sus heridas. Aunque a todos les está yendo bien, todavía tienen un largo camino hacia la recuperación por delante. Debido a la magnitud del accidente, sabemos que esto supondrá una carga financiera para ambos hogares. Tanto mi papá como mi abuelo siempre han trabajado muy duro como cabeza de familia y siempre han echado una mano sin pensarlo dos veces. Nos gustaría hacer esto más que nada para ayudar a quitarles algo de esa preocupación y ayudarlos con los gastos médicos que están a punto de llegar.
