Mendonca Family

It takes a tribe to raise a family and the Mendonca family just lost their pack leader, Cortenei Mendonca. Cortenei passed away very suddenly from a blood clot passed to the lungs 12 days after having an emergency C-Section due to the baby being breech. There were no symptoms or signs and she passed away peacefully and quickly in her sleep. Cortenei would have been 29 on the 28th of this month. She was the most genuine and down to earth person. Even through a rough upbringing, she had some of the strongest character traits instilled in her. She had a huge heart and would do anything she could to help others. She took care of all around her and was so many peoples rock. It didn’t matter how many times life threw her curveballs; she dodged and succeeded every time. She wanted nothing more than to be a mother and she was absolutely amazing with her girls.

Cortenei was the main provider for her family. With a young toddler and 2 week old baby, dad will not be able to return to work as often as needed to provide for the family. If you can find it in your hearts to help, it would be much appreciated. Anything helps, even just sharing this post.
