<div>My name is Marc Reina. I’m from San Diego, I’m a runner, and I’m proudly Colombian.

<div>Watching what has happened in Colombia after this earthquake has been hard. Seeing the images and hearing the stories from the affected communities, I kept feeling like I needed to do something.

<div>I may be thousands of miles away, and I know I can't fix what families are going through, but I can use what I have and the community around me to try to help.
</div>

<div>For me, that starts with running.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Running has become a huge part of my life. It has given me friendships, opportunities, and a community that has supported me in ways I never expected.
</div>

</div>
<div>Now, I want to use those miles for something bigger than myself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why I created <strong>Corriendo Para Colombia — Running for Colombia.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>This Sunday, I’ll be running the <strong>America’s Finest City Half Marathon</strong> in San Diego. I’m dedicating those 13.1 miles to Colombia and using the race as the starting point for this fundraiser.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But I don't want this to end at the finish line.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want to continue dedicating miles, races, and future events to Colombia while bringing together runners, friends, families, businesses, and brands who want to help.
</div>

<div><strong>Where Your Donation Goes</strong>

<div>This fundraiser supports <strong>Direct Relief's response to the earthquake in Colombia.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Direct Relief is providing emergency funding to <strong>Patrulla Aérea Civil Colombiana (PAC) </strong>to help deliver urgently needed medical supplies and provide humanitarian air transportation into affected areas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their response includes helping move medical personnel, blood units, and essential supplies into affected communities, while preparing wound-care and surgical supplies, antibiotics, medicines, and Field Medical Packs for first responders and search-and-rescue teams.
</div>

</div>
<div>As the situation moves from rescue to recovery, Direct Relief also expects to support Colombian health organizations and facilities based on the needs they identify.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Direct Relief already has a long-standing presence in Colombia. Since 2015, the organization has provided more than <strong>$27 million in medical aid </strong>to health organizations throughout the country.
</div>

</div>
<div>Knowing they already have relationships and resources in Colombia mattered to me when choosing where I wanted this fundraiser to go.
</div>

<div><strong>This Is Just the Beginning</strong>

<div>I don't know exactly how big <strong>Corriendo Para Colombia </strong>can become.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But I know where I can start.
</div>

<div>After that, I want to keep showing up, keep running, and keep finding ways to bring people together around this.
