Corrie Mullen Medical/Rehab Fund

Donation protected
On Friday March 9,  Corrie was transported via Life Flight to Harborview Medical Center after displaying multiple stroke symptoms.  After a long wait in the Emergency room she was finally given a room in the Neuro-ICU. Her carotid arteries are severely blocked on both sides. As of now, she is stable and being treated with a heparin drip. Her spirits are up and down, but her sassy spunk is doing well. She can say a few words, but for the most part lays quietly in her bed. Movement on the right side of her body is next to nothing. This is all very new and of course there are many more details, but right now we need to pull together and support her and her family…not only emotionally, but financially.

It is not known exactly how long Corrie will be in that bed at Harborview – but each day that passes incurs more expenses for them. As with most families, the Mullens raise their 16 year old son Rylee, have normal household expenses and go to work every day. Right now that is all up in the air as Joel sits by her side 200 miles from home. Imagine if you didn’t get your next paycheck, and the one after that, and the next…they need us now!  The whole family has a long road ahead of them as stroke recovery involves a lot of rehabilitation and if we can take just a LITTLE bit of stress out of the equation, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for all of the support and prayers for Corrie thus far – I can tell you that her family is strong, but they sure could use a few extra prayers these days.
