Coronavirus and Cyclone Amphan Relief Fund (WB)

My name is Amrita Pal and I am a high school junior in New Jersey. I would like to raise money to provide aid to people dealing with the effects of Coronavirus and Cyclone Amphan in Kolkata and surrounding areas, as well as Sunderban, through the non-profit organization, ANGIKAR, based in Kolkata. The people in these areas are not getting enough supplies from the government there.  

I have been working with ANGIKAR for the past 3 years to help provide necessities and educational materials to disabled orphans and underprivileged children.

My Past Work:
- distributed textbooks to underprivileged children
- bought a table tennis board for disabled children in an orphanage
- distributed food to people impacted by the Coronavirus lockdown situation

I raised money in the past by : 
-involving neighborhood kids to collect money during Halloween
-collecting donations from local grocery store customers during the holidays 
- selling homemade snacks to neighbors, friends and family with the help of my mom
-gathering donations from friends and family during the past holiday season
- my mom sold homemade sweets to her colleagues at work
