Corona crashed International Student Congress

The International Student Congress is a non-profit congress that is yearly held in Graz, Austria. The ISC tries to bring together young motivated students, scientists and academics from all different fields. We want to connect the different groups as early as possible to exchange views, create a network and get to know their way of thinking and working.
Unfortunately this year´s edition of the ISC had to be cancelled in recognition to the growing health risks worldwide related to the current epidemic.
As the health and safety of our attendees, partners, and staff is of paramount importance to us and we feel that it would be irresponsible towards our community and the public health to proceed with the Congress at this moment in time.
However, we now face financial responsibilities of 1000 Euros that cannot be covered facing the cancellation of the congress. As the International Student Congress is organized by medical students of Graz in their leisure time and on a volontary-basis we would now have to cover the costs by ourselves which ruins us financially. In this case not only our enourmous amount of work we put in this congress would be worthless, but we would also risk the next edition of the congress in May 2021.
