Hello, we are Cornell Orchestras!
The Cornell Symphony Orchestra, comprised of approximately 80 musicians, is dedicated to performing symphonic repertoire from the baroque through the twentieth century, as well as contemporary works of our time. The Symphony and Chamber Orchestras are directed by Michelle Di Russo and both present four to six concerts a year, including the annual Concerto Concert. The Cornell Orchestra was named one of the top 20 college orchestras in the country.
This Spring Break, we are hoping to go on tour in the Northeast. The main goal of this tour is to collaborate, learn, and perform with other college and professional orchestras. This fundraiser will help offset the costs of this trip.
