A Winter Solidarity Dinner.. in Cork City

Refugee and Migrant Solidarity Ireland (RAMSI) and Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland (MASI) are having our second Solidarity Dinner in Cork

As we're entirely voluntarily run, we rely on the kind donations of folks to make these potluck dinners as successful as possible.

Thank you so much for helping us pay for:

Transport:

People come to the dinners from direct provision centres all around the country. It would be a great support if we could help pay for their bus or train ticket.

Musicians:

Payment of musicians from the diaspora community and direct provision to provide music performance.

A year-long insurance policy.

We're really looking forward to coming together around music, joy, conversation (and maybe even some dancing). And we are really looking forward to building community and challenging the isolation and separation built into the Direct Provision (DP) system. We all need and deserve to have access to spaces of joy, fun, care and community. Building friendships and being part of a supportive community is essential for all of us.
