Cori Taylor Recovery Fund

Cori is one of our beloved infant room teachers and wonderful wife and mother of four, ages 12, 11 and twins who are 8.  In early January 2018, after battling through days of excruciating pain, she was diagnosed with Pancreatitis and has been in and out of the hospital for most of January.  Unfortunately during a serious of tests, the doctors found a nearly two inch tumor in her pancreas.  After a biopsy they discovered it is a malignant neuroendocrine tumor and that she indeed has pancreatic cancer.  She is having surgery on Tuesday 2/6/18 to remove part of her pancreas and her whole spleen.  After a month of recovery from surgery she will meet with the oncologist about further treatment/chemotherapy.  For 3 months she is not allowed to lift much of anything so she will be out of work for a while.  Cori is still in lots of pain and is on soft foods and nausea/pain meds until her surgery (and probably for a while afterwards).

Cori told me "I feel really loved and watched over, seeing the tiny miracle every day is what's getting us through this. It's heavy and scary but I've got this - this is not what is going to get me.  I still have so much living and momming to do!"
