Corey Declares War on Cancer: Round 3 - FIGHT!

My name is Staci Richardson, and I am contacting you about my husband, Corey. That’s right, Corey T. Richardson, whom we all know and love, was diagnosed with stomach cancer (lipo-sarcoma) for the third time on Tuesday, August 15, 2022. Lipo-Sarcomas are rare cancers that develop as fat cells in the stomach area of the body. Corey faced stomach cancer in 2018 and 2020; he successfully pulled through with the love and support of his family and friends.

Corey lights up the room when he enters and always has a smile on his face through good and challenging times. Corey always sends positive vibes to others to motivate them even during tough times. Corey underwent a round of radiation treatment for cancer between March and April 2021. Despite facing ongoing daily symptoms of nausea, fatigue, weakness and headaches as side effects of the therapy, Corey tried his absolute best to live an active life!

We are asking for help again to pound the pavement to raise money for Corey so that we can pay for:

Medical Bills and hospital stay

Co-pays for all of Corey’s appointments

Medications that are not covered by insurance

Gas for travel to and from his appointments

Specialized nutritious foods and vitamins for Corey’s diet

Corey battles symptoms from radiation treatment and now cancer every day. From nausea to cold sweats and fevers, from sleepless nights to being forced to manage headaches while going about his daily routine, Corey presses on to spread education and awareness about staying healthy!
