A story for this record: On August 27th 2020, we went into Woolly Mammoth Sound in Waltham, MA to record 8-12 songs. Woolly Mammoth is a longtime staple in the Boston scene, and a number of the band members have already had amazing experiences recording there. Containing a bounty of vintage and modern gear, a reactive and responsive live room, and a handful of skilled and sensitive engineers, recording at Wooly Mammoth granted us the luxury to actualize our sound and create an intimate sounding, creatively textured album that brings our songs to life.
Your donations will all go toward the expenses associated with creating an album from start to finish. This includes the tracking, mixing, and mastering at Woolly Mammoth, as well as marketing, album art, and a host of other small tidbits that all add up to a full, complete project.

Who is Cordelia?
Cordelia combines jazz, folk and rock sounds to wrap you in an emotional blanket of love, loss, and claims for independence.

Cordelia's singer and songwriter is Mariam Dahbi, a Morocco native who in 2015, flew away from her hometown of Rabat to pursue graduate studies in Education and make her dreams of being a professional singer and songwriter come true.
Mariam met upright and electric bassis Bob Abruzese at the famous Lilypad in Cambridge, during a Sunday Jazz Jam session. They decided to join musical forces and attracted incredibly talented musicians at Harvard University and beyond to form Cordelia: Grant Smith on percussion, Jack Lewis on piano, and Jacob Sunshine on electric guitar.
