Corbin Buckner Memorial Fund

“The young perish and the old linger, no parent should have to bury their child.”

Cindy is a wonderful mother of 4 boys, and 1 girl. You could also say that she has mothered many others, as her house has always been a go-to for many neighborhood kids. She has always had open doors and an open heart to anyone in need.

Recently, very tragically and suddenly, she lost her youngest son Corbin, 19, to horrible circumstances. Due to this tragic and unforseen event, the family is struggling to put together expenses for cremation and memorial costs. Friends and family, please find it in your heart to come together for this wonderful family, and help her to put her son to rest. Donations of any amount would be extremely beneficial to his family in this devastating time of need.  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you doesn't even begin to describe our gratitude.

Behind every smile there is a frown. Behind every frown there is a story. Within that story there was a moment of sadness, but with support from one simple person, we can change a forced smile into a true happiness. Helping one another is what keeps others happy, and reminds them to still have hope. Life has its ups and downs. We cannot change the bad things that have happened to someone, but we can change the sadness they have within because of their past. Please, lend a helping hand, because no one should have to face the world alone. With the people in the world coming to join as one, we can make a change. All you need is to have faith, and give support to one another. Everyone is family. We should start treating one another as brothers and sisters. When we do, we can improve the love in the world.

Corbin has five brothers, Joe, Torrey, and Robert,  Brandon,  and Aaron, and two sisters, Glisten and Tiffany. They, Cindy, and his father Chip all need as much love and support as they can get right now. Thank you for your time and understanding. <3

On Pain
 Kahlil Gibran

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy;
And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields.
And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.

Much of your pain is self-chosen.
It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.
Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquillity:
For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen,
And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears.
