Coral Rae Curcio Medical Fund

Coral Rae Curcio was born January 12, 2018 at just 33 weeks and 4lbs.  Shortly after birth her parents received news that no parent should have to hear. When the doctors assessed her at birth, they found that her esophagus had failed to attach to her stomach, a condition which requires a painful, invasive surgery to fix. Until the surgery is done and is healed she will be fed through a feeding tube (rather than by mouth by mother.) The terrifying news didn’t stop there, during the assessment the doctors also found that Coral was born with a closed rectum, which will require a separate surgery from the esophagus. Due to the fact that her little body is under so much stress already to doctors will do a colostomy and attach a bag until she is strong enough for the doctors to form a proper rectum. Coral will be in the NICU for at least a month where she will be watched and cared for around the clock. Her parents Jessica and Eric Curico are already amazing parents to baby Coral, however, they are already under so much stress with their newborn. We are asking for donations to relieve any financial stress this may bring. Please anything you can give will help this family. Please keep Jessica, Eric, and baby Coral in your prayers.
