Still coping with the disability process

Donation protected
I (Rachel) am bipolar. I receive SSDI but it is not nearly enough to support two people and rent. Lee was diagnosed bipolar as well in 2014. He has had a difficult time adjusting to the diagnosis.

Since I last asked for help (due to your generosity) we were not homeless...our amazing friend Jason let us rent from him and share his home with himself and his 16 year old.

Although he is still looking for work (against my best judgement) We are meeting with a lawyer next week. I feel we are more prepared now. Dr's notes  from every side of life. Psychiatrist,  Primary care (from when he was diagnosed unipolar) He's been under the added stress of about to lose most of his pinkie finger due to surgery on his Dupuytren's contracture. And immuno-compromised from the medication for his psoriasis.

My Mother and Step-Father have been gracious enough to rent their old home in Cambridge NY. The rent will be CRAZY reasonable...but once again...even with your donations we had to take out a loan and will have a hard time making all the utilities until Lee has been granted Disability.

I am on bended knee. Please help in any way you can.  If you can't I totally understand! There have been so many things I've wanted to contribute to...but just couldn't.

Thank you for reading.
