Well it has been a little while since we have caught up. Well it has been 12 months since we have moved to our new place and it has been an amazing year and we have been super busy...we have had lots of orphans coming in.
At this present stage we have 10 wombats and over fifty kangaroo joeys in care and also possums.
With this many in care our bills are huge and with no funding at all we need to ask for the help of people who love and support our wildlife.
PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM GROW
We have also a web page now
Thank you all for your support...
We also have lots of kangaroos , wombats and possums in our care costing approx $1000 a week. Any donation big or small is very much appreciated and all funds go directly to the care of the animals in Formula, grain/feed , vet bills , medication, etc... Please support us in helping all of the babies in care.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE OUR GO FUNDME WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS...
We are a non funded Wildlife/Animal Shelter that is run by a group of dedicated carers. We rescue , rehabilitate and release sick, injured and orphaned animals.
We are raising money to support the welfare and caring of the animals. On average a kangaroo joey is in care for up to 2 years before release and possums for up to 6-8 months and wombats for approx 12-18 months. The care of these animals are long term mostly with a few short term stayers. By the time a joey is released back into the wild it will have cost $2000 per joey for the 2 years
The funds will be used to purchase more avaries, build more kangaroo yards, wombat enclosures and possums boxes,
We have ongoing costs such as milk formula, fruits and veggies for the animals, vet bills, straw and hay and that is just some of the things we need....
If we have funds to purchase such items it gives these precious babies a better chance of survival. Our native Wildlife do not get enough support and as we love these babies so much it will lift some of the huge financial burden if we can be supported.
We would like to say thank you in advance for any financial support we can get from the public.
