Cooper's page is co-founded by Jennifer Blomeley and Michelle Goodman. Jennifer is a member of Seabreeze Church and a good friend of Cooper's mom, Nicole. Michelle is Nicole's sister and Cooper's aunt.
Cooper celebrated his 2nd birthday on November 3rd. On December 5th, Cooper was diagnosed with a cancerous eye tumor called retinoblastoma.
Cooper is under the care of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles by a specialist in this field. Retinoblastoma is a cancer that develops in the retina and he has lost all vision in the left eye. The MRI confirmed that the cancer is contained to the one eye and has not spread. The doctor is afraid the cancerous cells could spread because the tumor has detached from the retina. The best treatment for this is to remove the affected eye. The surgery to remove the eye is scheduled for December 21.
