Co-OP Housing Fire Emergency Fund

On June 4, 2020, at 2 am at the Fort St. John Co-OP Housing, my best friend  Michelle, awoke from her sleep to find her house on fire. Her, her son their roommate, along with their kitty, Pheonix managed to escape unharmed. The fire climbed the outside wall and into the roof above her sons room where he was sound asleep.   After the fire was suppressed, they were allowed to return home, with only water and smoke damage to the upstairs but unfortunately the house would be deemed uninhabitable and while being allowed to remove items, the fire started up AGAIN. This time, they were not that lucky. Her and her son had to go to the hospital with severe smoke inhalation. Water and smoke have destroyed almost everything they owned and there was no insurance. This is a woman, who gives and gives, she is a prominent member of the Fort St. John Kin Club, she has raised thousands of dollars for local community programs, organized numerous fundraisers for seniors, works with children in a school who need extra assistance and has dedicated her entire life to helping others in any situation. Her heart is in her community, and she pours her soul into every inch she gives.  She has a 12 year old son that needs clothing, they need sheets, blankets, etc. Fort St John, this is a woman that works with service clubs so your community can be the best place to live. Please help her this time. She is currently in a hotel with a storage unit, she will be staying in a home donated by a close friend for a week to 2 weeks but will need to find a new home for herself and her son.  Thank you so much, she desperately deserves a break and with 2 house fires in one day and both of them being injured, its dire times.
