Fund Volunteer Trip to Israel!
"Samuel said, “Has the Lord as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15:22
Hello World-Changers,
You're probably wondering the significance of the above scripture. Don't wonder too long because the answer is simple: I said YES to the Lord's call to go to Israel for 3 weeks! The story behind this scripture is that of King Saul who failed to follow the Lord's instruction in completely destroying the Amalekites as he was told. Rather, he thought he had a better idea and decided to spare the best sheeps and cattles to himself and to "sacrifice to the Lord." As a result, he was rejected as king because he failed to destroy the Amalekites. As great of a gesture as that was on Saul's part, God didn't want his sacrifice, he wanted OBEDIENCE!
It is with this deep awakening, dependency and TRUST in the Lord that I write to you.
As most of you know, I just returned from my mission's trip in Berlin, Germany not too long ago! God did so much not only in the hearts of the people my team and I got to minister to but even my own heart and mind was transformed as a result of this trip. I am still trying to process ALL that God did in and through me! You never realize how much authority you have until HE places you in circumstances where you have no choice but to utilize it with FAITH!
Little did I know that upon my return back home, God was going to make it UTTERLY CLEAR in confirming for me to go serve as a VOLUNTEER at the All Nations Convocation Jerusalem mid September! As a volunteer, I will be serving over 180 Nations who will be coming together from the ends of the earth to worship, pray and repent on behalf of their lands unto to the King of Kings in His Holy City, Jerusalem, also bringing testimony of what He's doing around the world.
Without the volunteers it is quite impossible for the convocation to run smoothly as designed, so I feel very honored & privileged to be chosen by God to be a part of what He is doing in ALL THE NATIONS at the convocation this year. To be a volunteer at this convocation means we will be working VERY HARD and serving in SO MANY ways and will NOT be able to attend as a normal delegate! We truly signed up to work hard in serving God's people so that His name alone will be glorified! Lord has shown me that through all of this, He has a greater purpose instored if only I will step out in obedience and faith!!
My VISION for this mission, is to make myself available to serve God's people in WHATEVER way is needed for His Glory!
