The COVID pandemic has placed an unbearable strain on many families and small businesses across the country. We recognized that there are not only families in our community that could use a helping hand, but that our local healthcare professionals need one too. 

DeFilippis Bakery and Cafe of Monticello has been a staple in Sullivan County for 33 years. In appreciation of the continued support of the community over the years, we have been inspired to take action! Carmela DeFilippis Foglia is partnering with local non-profit organizations, as well as hospital personnel to identify where we can provide meals. Our goal is to help bring hot meals to families in need and our overworked healthcare professionals. Over time, we hope to scale our efforts and partner with other small local businesses to help them stay afloat through these trying times. 

We know many families are suffering economically, and want to stress that any donation amount is meaningful and appreciated. Please consider feeding our healthcare workers and families in need at whatever level you can. Every dollar counts! 

Suggested Donations: 
$40 = cost of dinner for 1 family of 4
$120 = cost of dinner for 3 families
$200 = cost of dinner for 5 families 
$320 = cost of dinner for 8 families 
$400 = cost of dinner for 10 families 
$600 = cost of dinner for 15 families 
$1,000 = cost of dinner for 25 families
