University of Houston Coog Explorer

First of all my team and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this. We  are Seniors at the University of Houston in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Department. Currently, we are taking our Senior Design course and for our project over the next year, we will be designing a functional human-powered rover, which can overcome various obstacles. As part of our Senior Design idea, we are competing in an annual event held by NASA, called the "NASA Human Explorer Rover Challenge." In this event, our team will test our design against hundreds of other college students from many colleges. The rover will be able to traverse inclined and declined hills, serpentine pathways and many other obstacles.

As part of our project, we are looking for local businesses or individuals who are willing to help us out in any way possible. Whether the help is donations, materials, advice or anything else you would be willing to offer us, we will be very appreciative.

The 2018 NASA Human Exploration Cover Challenge Competition will be held in Huntsville, AL. The competition will be held from April 12 - 14, 2018. It will be broadcasted live, so we hope you guys can tune in and cheer us on.
