Who will benefit?
Oh, hello friends! We would like to wish you a healthier and blessed day and week! First, let me briefly let you know that in 2017/2018, I, Yegue, took my little 4 years old son PeterPrayer and my wife-his mom JessicaJoy over to Chad for the first time, to meet and be met by their Chadian side big families. As a special trip, we went to my village of birth (Tchindaye) far in the southern region of Tandjile. While there, we were so shocked and surprised that we could barely eat much. We were stuck with drinking water or tea; everything else was either no option, or hardly any second option of food. It was ridiculous! Imagine yourself being there in such situation?
Our 4 years old was so brave and somehow mindful that we barely heard any complaining from him. It was just unacceptable, but we kept the emotion inside us, with this urge to do something big about it once we return to the U.S.A. So many stories to share with you at a later time, hopefully!
So… Who will benefit?
Your Support of our brave initiative for (MORE FOOD OPTIONS in Chad) goes miles far beyond your reach in benefiting poor Local Chadian farmers, local small vendors, surrounding villages/towns' families/residents, the entire country of this underdeveloped Chad and all of us who believe more food options is the best way to live.
what the funds will be used for?
Under the guidance, efforts, and leadership of (Y Desire What +), teaming with the locals, our dreams, hopes, and wishes, are to establish a food-transforming plant. We dream of purchasing various commercial food-transforming machines, various power source generators/solar, operating equipment, pickup trucks, and the building of the food-transforming processing plant, etc. all, so that:
Long-awaited needed services such as (nut -shell removing and grinding), (milling of locally grown daily eaten crops) i.e.: brown rice, corn, millet, ”berebere,” sorghum https://www.simplysorghum.com/nutrition/
and more, can be provided locally--to enable production and transformation of - and availability of more food options to the residents in the southern agricultural region of Lai/Tchindaye/Tandjile, Chad.
Furthermore, because Mr. Yegue Badigue is a visually impaired, we plan to find and interview any local visually impaired for/and disabled individual for a fitting employment.
how soon we need the funds?
We already have the land/field legally available in (Tchindaye-Yegue birth village), of (at least 5 acres). The sooner we can gather Your power of funds and equipment, the sooner we can begin with the various first steps. The local families have been dreaming of having access to more food options for decades. Moms can’t even make a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich for their little ones-(yes, ridiculous), and local farmers (including many of my own uncles) have been trying to find ways to transform their crops into more food options for decades, while the rest of the developed world have been far ahead and enjoying theirs.
