<div>My name is Karen Thompson, over this last weekend our dear Peggy Michel went into the hospital with two brain aneurysms, one of which burst before surgery. The surgery went well, but her brain is still very swollen and she is just being watched for now. She was alert and able to move both before and following surgery so there is every hope that she might make a good recovery.

<div>However, Peggy has a long road ahead of her and she will be in the hospital for two to six weeks, possibly longer. Life may change quite a bit going forward but for today, her bills still need to be paid. My hope is that we can raise a chunk of money to cover her rent, utilities and other bills for the next few months. This will give her time to heal and figure out what comes next for her without worry about her home and belongings.
