Please read the article I have attached to my Facebook page in the pictures for the begging of the story that happened back in 2004. Fast forward 14 years later and things have not gotten much better for my mother. She now can hardly sit in her wheelchair for long periods of time because she is in so much pain. She has been through every procedure that we know of, through three different pain specialists and still have no relieve. It takes all the strength she has just to make it to a doctors appointment. We haven't given up on hope yet because we still have the faith that God will open the door on his time. At this time the vehicle that was donated to us 14 years ago to allow my mother to make it to her appointment's is no longer safe to drive. It leaks many fluids, the doors don't shut, the lift works when it wants to and the frame is rusted but we have no other choice because we can't buy or rent a new or used van. My father is the only one with an income. We have tried to get disability for my mother but three attorneys have said my mother does not qualify, which I don't understand. She is paralyzed from the neck down and needs 24 hour care. Now we are reaching out to get help to pay for reliable transportation. Any amount donated is beyond a blessing.
