Our hearts are broken to close our doors not only to our diners and supporters, but most importantly, to our staff. Our staff is our family and bloodline of our business. To unexpectedly close due to the current pandemic also put their livelihoods on the line. While we are all reaching out and hoping for relief from the government, we must stay open to other forms of action and consideration.
We are reaching out to YOU, our friends and family who may have supported us from afar telling friends to dine with us or our amazing regulars who come back time after time to share with us valued time and memories, and those who may have yet to come but understand our plight.
We are not asking you for help to open some restaurant concept or to renovate our dining room.
We are turning to you, as our neighbors, community, beloved regulars, and friends & family to donate and help offset the lost income of our employees. In an effort to continue to support our staff, 100% of proceeds will go directly to supporting our teams, who are in dire need of immediate relief as futures and return to work remain uncertain.
Where the money WILL go:
Staff in financial need
Those with families
Health insurance
Supporting staff on visas or inability to collect state or federal benefits
Where the money will NOT go to:
Restaurant renovation
Food / wine costs
Owners
We hope this storm will pass soon, but we know we cannot survive without one another, without continuing to support the very thing we love to do for you every day; create beautiful food, served by amazing people, sustaining a community that we cherish deeply.
