Continuing the fight for our life savings

On July 30th 2020, my parents lost their life savings. I was in shock and disbelief when I learned of my father's robbery.
My father went to the bank to withdraw money that him and my mother have worked for their whole life. You judge as you live, right. My dad, as the honest and hardworking man that he is, went to the bank to withdraw his life savings. He never expected such an atrocious attack. When he exited the bank a criminal attacked him and forcefully took the bag he had with all of his money inside. Bystanders attest that my dad was fighting with all of his will. My father was dragged by the criminal as they both fought for the bag. My father suffered from a dislocated shoulder, severe trauma to the head, and scratches and bruises all over his body. My parents had high hopes and dreams that were dependent on the stolen money. My parents needed this money to get through this pandemic as they are both unemployed, to support my 94 year old grandma with her medical and living expenses, to pay for my grad school tuition , and to send money to their family and loved ones in Mexico and El Salvador, as many of them have lost their jobs and homes due to the lack of work because of COVID-19 pandemic. This money was hard-earned and as a result of years and years of work.

El 30 de julio de 2020, mis padres perdieron sus ahorros de toda la vida. Estaba en estado de shock e incredulidad cuando me enteré del robo de mi padre.
Mi padre fue al banco a retirar el dinero por cual él y mi madre han trabajado toda su vida. Como vives Juzgas, cierto. Mi padre, como el hombre honesto y trabajador que es, fue al banco a retirar sus ahorros de toda la vida. Nunca esperó un ataque tan terrible. Cuando salió del banco, un criminal lo atacó y tomó a la fuerza la bolsa que tenía con todo su dinero adentro. Los espectadores atestiguan que mi papá estaba peleando con toda su voluntad. Mi padre fue arrastrado por el criminal mientras ambos luchaban por la bolsa. Mi padre sufre de un hombro dislocado, un trauma severa en la cabeza y rasguños y contusiones en todo el cuerpo. Mis padres tenían grandes esperanzas y sueños que dependían del dinero que fue robado. Mis padres necesitaban este dinero para superar esta pandemia, ya que ambos están desempleados, para mantener a mi abuela de 94 años con sus gastos médicos y de vida, para pagar la matrícula de la escuela de posgrado de mi hermana y para enviar dinero a su familia y seres queridos en México y El Salvador, ya que muchos de ellos han perdido sus empleos y hogares debido a la falta de trabajo por a la pandemia de COVID-19.
