<div>In early August 2024, Tyler underwent brain surgery to remove the majority of a brain tumor. Following the surgery, he was diagnosed with Grade 2 Oligodendroglioma, a chronic form of brain tumor that can be managed over time. Unfortunately, despite treatment with a target drug designed to slow its growth, the remaining tumor has enlarged, and Tyler now faces the need for more aggressive treatments, including chemotherapy and radiation.

<div>Tyler's upcoming treatment plan involves proton beam radiation, which will begin in late January 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida. The treatment will last between six to eight weeks, followed by twelve months of chemotherapy aimed at reducing the tumor or halting its growth. Proton beam therapy is a safer and more controlled form of radiation, minimizing the risk of further complications in the future.

<div>The Wollmann family is seeking support as Tyler has been off work for the past year to recover, exhausting all available benefits during that time. With his condition requiring immediate attention, there is little time to delay treatment. The financial burden of ongoing medical care, travel costs for treatment, and the loss of income due to time away from work has placed a significant strain on the family.
