Continuing On Without my Wife

My name is William Torres, on a beautiful Friday morning on June 24, 2022, my wife Monica, left this world and went on to heaven. This happened at the Methodist Hospital and was due to some health complications. It was very sudden, unexpected and devastating. Although heartbroken, spiritually and emotionally crushed, I know she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and one day I’ll see them both. Until then I move forward in His grace and live the life as Monica would want me to.

She was intelligent, vibrant, and enjoyed life, she was quiet until she got to know you.You couldn’t help but be drawn to her honesty and sincerity. Someone you could confide in. Monica had a heart of gold and truly believed in and saw the best in people in all occasions. She loved decorating our home, gardening, and our three loving cats.Her memories, and the impact she’s had on so many lives will live on. She was truly unique, a blessing from God. She was my best friend, a beautiful, loving, and faithful wife, a soulmate, a wonderful soul.

We had just moved into this area and closed on a house in November, a dream of ours for many years. It’s in need of a little work still, but nevertheless, our home. We had saved and sacrificed much to get to this point.

However, with Monica’s employment accounting for the majority of our finances, and along with the funeral expenses, this has put a burden on the finances. I will need a period of time to make employment changes and adjustments in order to resume financial obligations.

During this financial adjustment period, expenses will need to be covered. I will need help until I can cover them entirely on my own. I’ve never asked for help like this before but am trusting God,s grace for it all.

So, I created this page mostly for those people who knew Monica and I to help with some of the financial burden, but any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
