Continuing Life After Maria

Hi friends & family & guest. My name is Tanya, I'm a wife, mother of 2 (11 & 7 month old) for those who do not know me, I am a native New Yorker who relocated her family (including my mother) to Puerto Rico just 6 months ago to launch my local tour company Real PR Tours. Our lives revolved around the beauty and culture of our beautiful Island, however all of our dreams were crushed the day Hurricane Maria struck our little island. We devoted our time to showing the guest our islands hidden destinations. However, her wrath stripped the beauty of our island and destroyed communities that we frequently visited with our local tours. For the next 6 months tourism in PR will be non existent. Many have asked how they can help, so I made it easier for those of you can and are willing to donate. Your funds will be used to purchase diapers, gas, food, water, ice for our home for our family. Since we live outside of the US, and there is no postal service, we started this campaign because shipping cost can get quite expensive. Every penny of your donations will be greatly appreciated and will help our family maintain as we join our fellow Boricuas to help rebuild our island along with our dreams of being the tour operators here in Puerto Rico .
